Eunice Esi Esaaba Essien, the President-elect of the Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS), is making waves as a young leader.
She was elected with an overwhelming mandate, securing 126 out of 128 valid votes cast during the Union’s 23rd Annual Emergency Delegates Congress.
Her campaign focused on participatory leadership, integrity, vision, and service, with a promise to run an inclusive administration.
As GUPS President-elect, Eunice will represent Ghanaian students at international forums, including the African Union (AU) summit in Ethiopia. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and building partnerships to advance student interests.
Eunice’s win has been met with congratulatory messages from various Student Representative Councils, praising her leadership and commitment to unity. She’s pledged to bring everyone on board, ensuring no one is left behind, and to restore confidence in GUPS.
