The Ministry of Interior has outdoored a digital services platform aimed at improving its service delivery and operational efficiency.

This is in line with the government of Ghana’s digital transformation drive of a modern, secure, and inclusive digital economy.

Speaking at the launch of the portal on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025, the sector Minister Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak noted this addresses the challenges the manual and paper-based processes have created.

“For many years, the Ministry has provided a wide range of critical services that underpin national security, public safety, migration management, business operations, and the protection of citizens’ rights. However, these services have traditionally relied on manual, paper-based processes, which slowed delivery, created administrative bottlenecks, and placed undue burdens on applicants,” he stated.

He added that “the new Digital Services Portal directly addresses these challenges. It modernizes our operations, strengthens data integrity and security, and provides end-to-end digital access to our most frequently used services.”

The portal which has streamlined recruitment processes for agencies including the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service will also render citizenship and migration services, security and regulatory services, and other specialised services.

The Ministry of Interior‘s e-services portal is expected to ensure transparency, fairness, and efficiency in hiring, while providing applicants with real-time updates, secure document submission, and access via both online and mobile channels.
